We hope that you will come to the Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury on June 11th for a fun day on the greens, regardless of your ability level, to help support the Vermont Ski Museum and our mission to collect, preserve and celebrate Vermont's skiing history.

2010 marks the 8th year of our annual Golf Across Vermont Tournament. This event brings in much-needed funds to keep our non-profit organization in operation. The tournament moves each year to a different course within our beautiful Green Mountain State.

We are excited to be holding our 8th annual golf tournament in the beautiful town of Middlebury.  This year's event is in honor of two great Middlebury skiers, Bill Beck and "Bobo" Sheehan, who were both recently inducted into the Vermont Ski Museum Hall of Fame.  We would like to thank the people and the businesses in the town of Middlebury for being very supportive of the Vermont Ski Museum and our mission.

So many of Vermont's ski towns have magnificent golf courses. It's no wonder why golf is one of the favorite warm-season activities for a good percentage of Vermont's skiers and riders. This year we want to find out which Vermont ski area has the best golfers!   There are great prizes and HUGE bragging rights at stake!

Whether you're a ski area employee or just loyal to a particular hill, we invite you to represent that area on June 11th*.  Round up your ski/ride buddies and put together a team of 4 for this fun scramble-format tournament.   If you're not a skier or rider....... don't worry.  We would still love to have you play in our fundraiser!

Can the Middlebury Snow Bowl take the title on their home turf?  We'll find out on June 11th!

*Teams do not need to represent a ski area. More than one team can represent the same ski area. Teams that are not representing a ski area are still eligible for the same prizes. Teams can also represent a cross-country ski area.

$125/person includes:

• 18 holes of golf
• Use of driving range/practice green
• Golf cart
• Late afternoon food
• Awards ceremony
• Closest to the Pin contest
• Longest Drive contest

• Hole-In-One contest
• Goodie bag

Register a full foursome by May 28, 2010 and be entered into a drawing to win a round of golf for 4 at the new Jay Peak Championship Golf Course or other premier Vermont course!

BALL CART BULLSEYE!

This could quite possibly be your only chance ever to be rewarded for hitting the range cart!

The cart will be driving back and forth in the 150 to 200 yard range.  Hit the cart once and move onto the finals.  The first person in the finals to hit the cart (with no bounces) wins a fabulous prize!

TRY THE ONLINE VERSION called "Hack Attack" HERE.  It's totally addicting!

The Golf Across Vermont Tournament is made possible each year by the generosity of those individuals and businesses who take pride in Vermont for the important role that it has continuously played in the ski industry.  This event brings in much-needed funds to keep our non-profit organization in operation so that we can continue to collect, preserve and celebrate Vermont's skiing history.

All donations to the Vermont Ski Museum are tax deductible.
